The family of Gregor Gibbons have paid tribute to him one year on.
The 32-year-old, who was first reported missing on July 2, was recovered from the River Kelvin on July 26.
His brother Scott Gibbons said on social media: "A year past already and another visit from where you were taken from us."
We previously reported that the high-profile search for Gregor, from Colston, not only formed part of a huge policing operation, it involved appeals by Glasgow singer Gerry Cinnamon and his favourite football club Rangers with ex-player Nacho Novo also supporting the campaign.
We also previously reported that his family were planning to erect a memorial bench in his memory and a fundraiser was launched.
Scott said: "Just to let close family and friends know Gregor’s Bench with be in place thanks to Scottish Canals because of circumstances things have taken longer than expected there’s nothing anyone can do."
