EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a large house-fire in Milngavie.
Fire services remained at the scene last night tackling the blaze which broke out on St Edmunds Grove in the Glasgow suburb.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "We were alerted at 1.23pm on Thursday, July 9 to reports of a fire within a house at St Edmunds Lane, Milngavie.
"Operations control mobilised five appliances and an aerial appliance to the incident where firefighters currently remain on scene.”
Three appliances and an aerial appliance were still at the scene as of last night.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that officers attended the blaze and are investigating.
She added: "Emergency services are on the scene dealing with the fire and enquiries are ongoing."
