WORK to extend pavements on Paisley Road West will start tomorrow as part of the Spaces for People programme.
The temporary infrastructure is being put in place to enable social distancing and appropriate queuing outside of the local shops.
In order for the work to be carried out, the traffic lights at the junction of Hillington Road South will be switched off, and temporary lights put in place for one week - from Monday, July 13 to Monday, July 20.
The extended pavements will only be in place for a minimum of 10 weeks before being reviewed.
