Officers were called to Wellshot Road yesterday
A MAN has been taken to hospital after cops swooped on an East End street yesterday.
Officers were called to Wellshot Road, in Tollcross, at around 3.30pm after the alarm was raised by locals.
The man was later taken to hospital by police where he is currently receiving treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to the Wellshot Road area of Glasgow following concern for a man.
"The man has been conveyed to hospital for treatment.”
