Gavin, 55, said: "I'd rather wear a mask than a ventilator. Think beyond yourself. No to no masks."
One Twitter follower then replied to his tweet saying: "Why not put yourself in a panic room for the rest of your life Gavin?"
The actor replied: "I have lost friends and have other permanently damaged through Covid.
"Why not do a simple thing to protect yourself and others, and keep things at bay rather than being a thoughtless selfish a**e."
