A person has been hit by a train this morning on to Glasgow to Edinburgh line.
Emergency services rushed to the scene between Bathgate and Blackridge at around 6am.
The condition of the person who was hit is currently unknown.
ScotRail have warned service users to expect delays.
ScotRail shared a message on social media first thing this morning.
They said: "Sadly, a person has been struck by a train between #Bathgate and Blackridge.
The emergency services are on their way to the scene".
British Transport Police has been contacted for information.
