Floral tributes have been laid at a Drumchapel building site after a 10-year-old boy tragically died yesterday evening.
The child was found at the scene near Glenkirk Drive at around 9.55pm before he was rushed to hospital.
Sadly, he died a short while afterward at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital due to his injuries.
Devastated locals have since expressed their condolences, adding that the tragic death has rocked the whole community.
One told the Glasgow Times: "It's heartbreaking for the whole community. Will kill the whole place. It's a sin. It's heartbreaking."
Another said: "It's so sad. What can you say. It's a wee boy at 10".
Police Scotland have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Enquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Health and Safety Executive spokeswoman previously told the Glasgow Times: “HSE are aware and assisting police with their enquiries.”
