SCOTTISH TV favourite Lorraine Kelly has been tipped by the bookies to appear in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The bubbly presenter, 60, is among the famous faces competing in the 2020 series, according to her ITV co-workers Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard who both offered a strong hint on Tuesday's edition of Good Morning Britain.

Kate and Ben made some strong suggestions that Lorraine was taking part in Strictly and it has resulted in her price at the bookies taking a hit.

Lorraine was initially priced up at odds of 10/1 with BoyleSports but following some speculative bets last month, the star tumbled into 4/1 to take part and try to claim the glitterball.

But further support has seen her odds plummet into 10/11 making her the second favourite behind 4/5 chance Made in Chelsea Star Jamie Laing.

Other names in the running according to the bookies include football legend Harry Rednapp, former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher, actress Michelle Keegan, Loose Women star Stacey Solomon, Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepard, presenter Maya Jama, and Love Island star Maura Higgins.

Sarah Kinsella, spokeswoman for BoyleSports said: “Lorraine Kelly is attracting huge support to dance her way onto the Strictly Come Dancing show.

"The TV presenter is 10/11 from 4/1 following some speculative bets placed on Tuesday morning after some suggestions were made on Good Morning Britain.

"Harry Redknapp is proving to be a popular choice for the show too as he was backed into 12/1 from 25/1 last week.”
