A BUS driver and an off-duty doctor reportedly rushed to the aid of a woman hit by a car.
A 65-year-old woman was taken to hospital this morning with serious but not life-threatening injuries after she was struck crossing Great Western Road in Anniesland.

A worker at William Stirling's butchers in Anniesland said that the woman got off the bus and was hit by a grey Renault when crossing the road.
The driver of the bus and a doctor who was passing the scene en route to work stopped to assist the woman while they waited for an ambulance.

A police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on Great Western Road, Glasgow, around 8.05pm on Thursday, July 23.
"A 65-year-old woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
