Celtic-daft John McGinn was caught urging his Aston Villa teammates to 'Get that to f***' when Simply the Best blared through the speakers as they celebrated staying in the Premier League this weekend.

Villa's players were delighted to remain in English football's top tier on the final day of the season with a 1-1 draw at West Ham and the singing and dancing was in full flow. But when the Tina Turner anthem came blasting out, McGinn demanded a quick tune change - and got it.

Filming on Instagram Live, Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina caught the hilarious moment on camera as the song synonymous with Rangers was moved onto shuffle mode. And quickly the music changed to Ritchie Valens classic 'La Bamba'.

Celtic fans were loving McGinn's no-nonsense approach to the Gers-related song and took to social media to share their thoughts. One laughed: "Go on wee man," as another added: "Yass John McGinn CSC." One simply said: "Class."

McGinn was close to signing for Celtic before eventually opting to join Aston Villa in 2019. Though he has admitted in recent times that he would still love to join his boyhood club one day. The Scotland midfielder has been linked with a Manchester United move at times this season with some even slapping a £50m pricetag on his head.
