With just two days to go until Hibs' Premiership curtain-raiser at home to Kilmarnock, outcast striker Florian Kamberi is enjoying some sunshine back home in Switzerland.

We told this week how manager Jack Ross confirmed Kamberi has no future at Easter Road. Ross explained how a move away from the club would be best for both parties, 'the sooner, the better'. The hitman, of course, has no place in Ross's squad so has opted to take some time with family in Zurich before deciding on his next move.

Glasgow Times:

Sharing some photos on his Instagram page, Kamberi appeared to be lapping up the time off at Flussbad Oberer Letten, a riverfront swimming facility back in his home country. He was allowed to return home by Hibs officials.

Kamberi's time was up at Hibs after he joined Rangers last season and revealed the move was a 'dream come true', despite the move merely being a loan deal. It is understood the relationship between the attacker and his parent club was strained from that point and Ross admitted it would be difficult for the player to return to the club.

Gers are reportedly keen on bringing Kamberi back to Ibrox, potentially, with Alfredo Morelos seemingly on the way out of the Glasgow club as Lille step up their interest. He has one year left on his contract and has also interested St Gallen and Brentford recently.
