PEOPLE working in Glasgow City Centre are paying the second cheapest commute in the UK, according to a new study.
Those travelling into the city are forking out on average £54 a month – second only to Cardiff on £52.90.
Edinburgh was ranked fifth on the list.
The study found that commuting there would set you back an average of £55.42.

The research was pulled together by firm Purely Diamonds, as it looked to reveal the top UK cities for newlyweds to consider.
It also looked at the number of museums, restaurants, cinemas and theatres in each city to find the top spot for
culture.
The results of that study revealed Glasgow ranked third across the county in terms of culture, behind only London and Edinburgh.
Overall, Scotland was crowned the top country for newlyweds to consider – with Glasgow a firm favourite.
