A MAN who appeared in court with alleged rape has been released on bail.
Joseph Boylan, 21, from Glasgow, is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman in an alley in Clydebank.
The alleged attack took place in the early hours of Saturday morning on Alexander Street.
At Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Mr Boylan made no plea and was released.
The case was committed for further examination.
