FLIGHTS from Glasgow to Cyprus will recommence this month with holiday operator Jet2. 

The company announced today that flights to Larnaca on the Mediterranean island will start again from August 17.

Flights will run from Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports as well as a number of airports in England. 

Flights to Paphos will start again the day after and Jet2 said there are 45,000 seats on sale.
