M80 at Old Inns near Cumbernauld closed amid reports of vehicle fire
THE M80 northbound is closed amid reports of a vehicle fire.
Traffic Scotland said: "The M80, northbound, is currently blocked at the junction 6 on slip due to a road traffic incident. Drivers are advised to use an alternative route."
A picture published on Heart Scotland's Twitter shows a large cloud of smoke above vehicles on the road.
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
