ROSS WILSON admits the chance to play regular first team football was the driving force behind Ross McCrorie's move to Aberdeen.
The midfielder has completed a season-long loan switch to Pittodrie and will then clinch a deal until 2024 next summer.
McCrorie has seen his chances limited under Steven Gerrard and Ibrox Sporting Director Ross Wilson said: “Having progressed through our Academy to make 55 appearances for Rangers we thank Ross for his contribution to the club over the years.
“Ross wants to play regularly and asked us to allow him to leave permanently if we received an approach to sign him which we have respected.
“He’s a fantastic lad and on behalf of all at Rangers we wish him well.”
