SCOTTISH Ballet’s winter tour of The Nutcracker has been postponed.
The Glasgow-based company announced it had taken the ‘difficult decision’ after consultation with theatres, because of ‘ongoing restrictions around maintaining social distancing’.
Performances planned for this December and January 2021 will be rescheduled to 2021/22, and box office staff are contacting customers to transfer tickets.
A spokesperson said: “We look forward to sharing our productions with audiences when we are confident we can do so with everyone’s safety and comfort as our top priority.”
