A popular bakery in the West End has made a new bid to open up another cafe.

Cottonrake Bakery unveiled initial plans to take over a site on 717 Great Western Road at the end of 2019.

However, previous plans were rejected by city planners due to a lack of appropriate ventilation.

New plans reassure that the majority of the products will be cooked off-site in a "prep kitchen".

The only on-site for preparation would be the toasting of sandwiches and baguettes.
