CELTIC are set to land Motherwell star David Turnbull in a £3million deal this week, according to reports.
The Hoops have been long time admirers of the Scotland youngster and had a deal in place for his signature last summer.
But after a knee issue was discovered during his medical, the deal collapsed and he was rushed into surgery.
Neil Lennon has retained his interest in the midfeilder since though, and the The Scottish Sun report today that a deal is expected to be completed this week.
Celtic's head of recruitment Nick Hammond and first team coach Gavin Strachan have already watched the 21-year-old in action this term.
A number of clubs in England are also monitoring his situation, but it is understood that Celtic are Turnbull's prefered destination.
