Commuters in Glasgow are being warned of train delays as torrential weather from yesterday has flooded central lines.

Due to heavy flooding of the railway between Glasgow and Bridgeton, rail passengers are being warned to expect delays by up to 10 minutes today.

ScotRail shared on Twitter: "Due to heavy flooding of the railway between Glasgow Central and Bridgeton, services running through these stations will be delayed by up to 10 minutes."

Engineers are currently at the site trying to resolve the problem.

It comes after floods were seen city-wide yesterday evening, with heavy rain causing transport chaos.

We will bring you more updates throughout the day on travel as we get them.
