Nicola Sturgeon is to chair a meeting later today to discuss what action is needed to halt outbreaks of coronavirus in Greater Glasgow.
The First Minister indicated action could be forthcoming stating that the “situation is causing us some concern.”
She said that there had been 154 new positive cases across Scotland in the last 24 hours and 66 were in the Greater Glasgow area.
The First Minister said she would be chairing a meeting of the Scottish government Resilience committee later today and would provide more information after that.
She said the meeting would "consider what action may be necessary to prevent further spread."
