A NEW recovery hub in Springburn Shopping Centre aims to tackle a lack of services in the area.
SISCO will set up shop in the centre to allow people struggling with addiction to drop in and discuss their problems. The stall will be open 12-3pm every Tuesday.
The group normally helps inmates in Scotland's prisons but founder Natalie Logan MacLean said the group has stepped up to fill in gaps in services during the pandemic.
Speaking to the Glasgow Times, she said: "There's very little service provision in Springburn so we wanted to set up a place where people can come in and talk to us about their problems.
"We can signpost them to services and we also provide family support. We also take people who come to us with mental health problems for walks to boost their moods."
