Officers have been rushed to an ongoing incident in the South Side of Glasgow.
Two police vans and two police vehicles have been called to the scene at Cook Street, Tradeston.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times: "Police are talking to a woman in West Bridge Gardens close to Cook Street who seems very distressed."
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 4.20pm on Wednesday, 9 September, officers were called to the Cook Street area of Glasgow following a report of a man and a woman acting suspiciously.
"Officers engaged with the couple and there was no criminality.
"Suitable advice was given."
