CONCERNS have been raised about a clothing brand's response to a coronavirus outbreak.

A number of workers at Quiz's Glasgow headquarters tested positive for the virus.

But a source - who did not wish to be named - said that it was "business as usual" at the company's Hydepark Street head office and that workers were on the premises today.

The company said "the majority" of the office was closed for a professional deep clean today and that relevant contacts of the patients had been informed.

The source told the Glasgow Times that it could be as many as six employees.

Quiz would not confirm the number.

A spokesman for the brand said: “We can confirm that a small number of our head office employees tested positive for Covid-19.

"The company has followed all health and safety guidelines including informing relevant colleagues and closing the majority of the head office, including all the areas occupied by the employees who have tested positive, for a professional deep clean.

"We have also informed NHS Scotland Track & Trace. We continue to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all our colleagues across the business and we wish those affected a speedy recovery.”

A spokeswoman for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said they did not currently have any record of the outbreak.
