A GLASGOW pub has closed its doors to customers after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.
Bosses at Hootenanny announced the pub would be closed temporarily to allow a deep-clean to be carried out.
A statement published to Facebook on Saturday read: "We have been informed this morning that one of our staff members at Glasgow Hootenanny has tested positive for Covid-19.

"As a precaution, we are closing our doors temporarily to allow us to carry out a specialised deep-clean and ensure the safety of our staff and customers, as this is our top priority.
"We will be in touch in due course and we look forward to seeing you all again soon. Please stay safe."
