Two 12-year-old girls have disappeared overnight from the Renfrew area.
Lara Ann Bennett and Ava Galvin were last seen at around 9am yesterday in Renfrew.
Officers have launched an urgent appeal to trace the two missing schoolgirls and are asking anybody who may have seen them to come forward.
Lara Ann is described as 5 feet 5 inches in height, white Scottish, short red hair, when she was last seen she was wearing black leggings, black hooded top, black trainers, black Ellesse bag.
Ava is described as 5 foot 3 inches in height with brown curly hair and when last seen she was wearing black leggings, black hoodie and black trainers.
