A GLASGOW pub has been forced to close after a customer tested positive for Covid-19.
South Side bar The Old Govan Arms confirmed the news this afternoon with the watering hole due to undergo a deep clean tonight.
Bosses hope to reopen in the coming days and have moved to reassure punters they are taking all of the necessary steps.
In a statement, the pub's chiefs wrote: "In light of recent news that one of our customers has tested positive for COVID-19, we have taken a cautious decision on our own to close the pub as of immediate effect.
