A WEST End cycling charity has launched the city’s first e-Cargo bike lending library to help local businesses decrease their carbon footprint.
Bike for Good is offering 15 firms the opportunity to borrow one of their brand bicycles, and access to confidence-building sessions, roadside maintenance, and purchasing advice.
The charity, which is based on Haugh Road, hope using the bikes will bring about financial, health, and environmental benefits for businesses that take part.
The group hope taking vans off the road and replacing them with innovative urban e-cargo bikes will lead to a reduction in carbon emissions.
Businesses who are interested in getting involved in the pilot project, can visit the charity’s website for more information.
