A BID to create new affordable homes at the heart of Anniesland has been submitted to the council.
Partick Housing Association (PHA) has put a planning application in to transform a vacant office block on Great Western Road.
Working in partnership with MAST Architects, Glasgow City Council and others, PHA’s proposals include converting the upper floors of the four-storey office building at Anniesland Cross.
The work would transform the unused space into 17 affordable new homes, comprising 11 one-bedroom flats and six two-bedroom flats for social rent.

The building has been vacant for a number of years and offers excellent access to local shops, services, amenities and public transport.
PHA's chief executive Stewart MacKenzie said: “At Partick Housing Association, we’re committed to a programme of providing more high quality and affordable homes which are much-needed within Glasgow’s West End.
"We’re delighted to be working with partners in Anniesland, bringing this building back to life and meeting local housing needs.”
