A GREENOCK man issued death threats to his ex-partner via a mobile messaging app.
Jamie Derrick, 33, pleaded guilty to tormenting the woman over a four-day period.
He repeatedly contacted her via Whatsapp and uttered offensive remarks and threats to kill between April 12 and 15.
Derrick, of Berwick Road, had the guilty plea tendered in his absence from court by lawyer Gerry Keenan.
Sheriff Joseph Hughes has deferred sentence until November 4 for his personal appearance.
