Traffic on the M8 has come to a standstill as police respond to an ongoing incident.
The motorway is closed Eastbound at Charing Cross as police respond to the incident.
Drivers are being advised to use alternative routes.
St Vincent Street is also closed between North Street and Newton Street.
Queues are now stretching from J19 to J25 by Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team confirmed the closure in a statement which reads: "Following a Road Traffic Incident, the M8 Motorway is currently closed to all Eastbound traffic at Junction 19 (approach to Charing Cross)
"Road users are advised to avoid this route and delays should be expected."
