IT is now one year to the day since popular former Rangers defender Fernando Ricksen sadly passed away after succumbing to Motor Neurone Disease.
The ex-Netherlands internationalist was just 43 when he died and today, on the one-year anniversary of his death, those close to Ricksen have been posting poignant tributes in his memory.
His wife, Veronika, posted a picture on Instagram with the caption: "One year without you our love ā¤ļøšš time just flys , year too short... so empty without your smile , jokes , calm and love I miss you so badly š itās broke my heart to loose you so early . We love you so much our angel . Forever yours Isabella and Veronika šš½šā¤ļøĀ #fernandoricksenĀ #loveyouforeverĀ #loveyoutothemoonandbackĀ #neverforgottenĀ #sleepwellĀ #mystar"
