POLICE have raced to a block of flats in the city's South Side after the discovery of a man's body.
Officers have been on the scene at Tinwald Path since around 10.30am this morning.
Police confirmed the body of a 70-year-old man had been found within a property.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

The high rise is a mix of Glasgow Housing Association (GHA) and private properties.
It's understood officers were kitted out in forensic suits and housing association staff were on hand.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times: "There were about five officers going up the stairs and then a smaller van arrived with another two.

"I saw one officer putting a white suit on and another carried a bag into the back of the van.
"A couple of GHA officers were standing outside as well."
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Officers were called to an address at Tinwald Path Glasgow, around 10.30am on Monday, September, 21, following the sudden death of a 70-year-old man.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
