PLANS have been drawn up to convert an unused funeral directors into flats.
Developers are bidding to transform the former Robert Davidson Funeral Service, on Whitevale Street, into accommodation.
Glasgow City Council chiefs will now consider the application on the Dennistoun building, which is currently vacant.
In documents submitted to planning bosses on behalf of Brian Morrison, agent Rhubarb Blue Limited wrote: "Initial thoughts were to split the former commercial premises into two flats but restrictions on dual aspect primarily resulted in current scheme of one single flat.
"Gerry Mimnagh [GCC case officer] felt this was more acceptable but commented that a suitable approach to the ground floor front windows would need to be agreed."
Visit the council's planning website and use the reference 20/02263/FUL to view the application in full.
