POLICE are continuing to probe a disturbance at a Greenock retail park where a 64-year-old man was found seriously injured.
An incident occurred near the Home Bargains store on Custom House Way at around 1.55pm on Saturday.
Vidoes have emerged on social media of a person receiving CPR at the scene. The person is believed to have suffered a heart attack at the scene.
Police Scotland have confirmed that a disturbance took place, however, it is yet to be established if the injured man was directly involved.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff said: “There is no evidence there was any physical contact between any of those involved.”
A police spokesman said: "We received a report of a disturbance at a retail park on Custom House Way, Greenock, around 1.55pm.
"A 64-year-old man was found seriously unwell and has been taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital by ambulance.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
