Space lovers in Largs and the West Coast can look to the skies in the next few nights to catch a glimpse of the International Space Station.
The station will be bright in the sky as it whizzes around the earth at speeds of more than 27,000 kilometres per hour.
On Tuesday September 29, the ISS will be visible between 8:01pm and 8:06pm passing in a WSW-SSE direction.
On Wednesday September 30, the station can be seen between 8:50pm and 8:54pm, in a WSW-S direction.
The ISS completes one lap around the Earth in just 92 minutes, meaning astronauts inside can see sixteen sunsets and sunrises in a single day.
