A MAN allegedly accused staff at a Co-Op shop of abducting his partner.
Daniel Hussain, 28, is said to have made the claims at the branch in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire last September.
Prosecutors state Hussain repeatedly entered the store before making the accusation as well as shouting, swearing and kicking a door.
Hussain also allegedly shouted and swore at a woman on a car journey that same day between Coatbridge and Newton Mearns.
Hussain plead not guilty on Tuesday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the two breach of the peace charges.
A further hearing was set for next month by Sheriff Martin Jones QC who continued Hussain’s remand in custody meantime.
