FIRE crews are currently tackling a blaze in the East End of Glasgow.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they are currently at the scene of the tyre fire in Duke Street, near to the Forge Shopping Centre.
A spokeswoman said that two fire engines were sent just after 6pm.
Smoke has been seen billowing across the city.
Duke Street is currently closed to traffic between Carntyne Road and Shettleston Road, and Todd Street is also closed between Carntyne Road and Duke Street.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called at 6.20pm following a report of a number of tyres being set on fire on waste ground at Duke Street.
"No injuries have been reported."
