Two primary classes at an East Renfrewshire school are self-isolating after a coronavirus outbreak.
A primary three and primary five class at Mearns Primary in Newton Mearns have been advised to self-isolate as a "precaution" following notification of a number of positive tests.
NHS Test and Protect teams will now work to identify close contacts to those to have tested positive for the virus.

Parents of pupils at the school have been informed of the measures where home learning equipment has been provided for those isolating.
The Glasgow Times understands there is currently no evidence of transmission within the school itself, where those who have not been asked to self-isolate can return as normal.
An East Renfrewshire Council spokeswoman said: “Following notification of positive tests linked to Mearns Primary, we made colleagues at Public Health aware and are following all necessary procedures, including two classes now self-isolating at home as a precaution.
"Parents have been informed of the measures we are taking and home learning provision is being put in place to support these pupils.”
