Celtic's Hatem Abd Elhamed has been pulled from the Israeli national team and placed in self-isolation.
The defender complained of feeling unwell after yesterday's defeat to Czech Republic. As a precaution he was removed from the squad and will now take a coronavirus test.
Hoops boss Neil Lennon will now anxiously await results with a crunch first derby of the season against Rangers approaching in five days time.
Celts are already without Nir Bitton who tested positive for Covid-19 on international duty with Elhamed, Odsonne Edouard who contracted the virus with France under-21s and Ryan Christie who was in close contact with Stuart Armstrong who got the virus with the Scotland camp.
James Forrest is already out through injury so another player missing the game would be a huge blow to the champions.
