A MAN was rushed to hospital after alarm was raised in an East End park. 

The man was reportedly "lying in the woods" in Alexandra Park this afternoon, according to an eyewitness. 

Concern was raised and emergency services raced to the scene. 

The man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is being treated.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to a concern for person call in Alexandra Park in Glasgow around 3.15pm today, Monday, October 12, 2020.

"As a result, a man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is currently being treated."
