SIX firefighters at a station in Glasgow are self-isolating following a positive Covid-19 case.
One employee at Maryhill fire station has tested postive for the virus.
A further five colleagues are self-isolating as a precaution.
Roddie Keith, a local senior officer for Glasgow at SFRS, said: “I can confirm that one firefighter at Maryhill Fire Station, Glasgow, recently tested positive for Covid-19 and a further five firefighters self-isolated in line with guidance from the Scottish Government.

"We continue to offer them our fullest support.
"The fire station has remained operational. I would like to reassure the community that their safety is our highest priority and that emergency cover is being maintained across the area.”
