A WOMAN tragically died after she was hit by a train in Glasgow.
The woman with struck by a train on the tracks at Hillington East station on Saturday evening.
Paramedics and transport police officers attended the scene but sadly the woman was pronounced dead.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman said: "British Transport Police were called to Hillington East station at 5.43pm on Saturday 17 October following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended, however, sadly a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious."
