EXCLUSIVE analysis carried out by the Glasgow Times has revealed the parts of the city where lockdown restrictions seem to have supressed coronavirus numbers.
Central Easterhouse was the neighbourhood with the biggest percentage dcrease in coronavirus cases, dropping by -85.29% % in the week ending Saturday, October 17 from the week before.
The Glasgow Times looked at data from Public Health Scotland which measures the numbers of new positive tests in neighbourhoods within a seven day period.
The next was Govan and Linthouse, which saw cases decrease by -83.33% in the same period - from 15 cases in the previous week (ending October 10) to between one and four* in the week ending Saturday, October 17.
Cardonald North saw a large decrease, with figures going down by -80.77% in the same period - from 13 cases to between one and four new positive tests.
King's Park South saw a decrease of -79.17% in its cases, going from 12 new cases in the week to October 10 to between one and four in the week to October 17.
Last in the top five biggest falls is Dowanhill, where cases dropped from 31 to 7, a decrease of -77.42%.
The Scottish government was approached for comment.
