CATERING staff at a South Side school have tested positive for Covid-19.
Pupils at Merrylee Primary are now being served packed lunches as a temporary measure with the employees placed into self-isolation.

Council bosses have stressed there are no positive cases of the virus within the Friarton Road building itself and no further action is needed for children or other members of staff.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said: “The school has contacted families to say that packed lunches will be served as a temporary measure due to staff shortages.”
