SCOTTISH actor Martin Compston is appealing for a return of T in the Park.
The Line of Duty star has urged someone to start a petition to persuade organisers to bring back the festival for next year.
With no immediate end to this in sight, the next few months would be a lot easier if they announced the return of @Tinthepark at Balado July 2021 with Arctic Monkeys Gerry Cinnamon and The Killers headlining. Somebody start a petition

He wrote on Twitter: "With no immediate end to this in sight, the next few months would be a lot easier if they announced the return of @Tinthepark at Balado July 2021 with Arctic Monkeys Gerry Cinnamon and The Killers headlining. Somebody start a petition."
But, his choice of line-up didn't please everyone.
One person replied: "Ooh so close.. Monkeys, Proclaimers and Nutini plz."
Another added: "Good taste. The ultimate is The Killers (fav band of all time, especially live). New album is outstanding too, I’ll sign petition no probs."
And someone said: "The amount of money I’d pay to have one more TITP."
