THIS is absolutely shocking (Flu jab crisis: Glasgow driver ‘lives in fear’ of catching flu amid delays, Tuesday).

The elderly and people with health problems need their flu jags.

Doctors need to start opening up surgeries and if someone is desperate they can go to their local pharmacy as they are doing them there too.

IT is widespread. I’ve had a transplant and have no immune system but still have not had mine either.

It is a total shambles and disgraceful.

HOW many elderly patients are still going out as much and mixing with others?

If they are limiting their contact with others and self-isolating, their risk would be far less.

Younger generations who are still able to go out to work, or who have underlying health conditions, should be prioritised to some extent, if they need to be able to earn a living for their families.

THE hospital that was built to use for Covid patients was never used, yet they still say the hospitals are overwhelmed with cases – that’s why the restrictions on any other illness are being cancelled.

Now, why would they not use the hospital to treat Covid patients and let the many thousands of patients who are being neglected have their treatment that they desperately need to save their life?

I’M so disappointed my son can’t go trick or treating this weekend.

What harm would it do? I feel so sorry for children who are missing out this year.

PLEASE ban fireworks. They are not only terrifying all animals but people too are frightened to go out as they are so noisy and travel so far.

They were going off on canal banks at night and one nearly came on to my veranda. It’s bloody scary.

THERE’S too many daft youngsters setting fireworks off and causing danger.

It’s terrible in my area. Definitely ban them.
