A GORBALS dad has gone all out this Halloween with the spectacular decoration of his home.
Neil McVey decorates his home on Cumberland Street every year, and this year even gave the decorations a fun Covid twist with face masks on skeleton decorations.
Neil said: "We always decorate the house, I'm a massive fan of holidays like Christmas and Halloween and love getting festive for it.
"When we moved to this flat, because we are now low down, we are able to put on a bit of a show for local kids."
In a video posted to Tiktok by his daughter, Elizabeth, the decorated veranda of the flat can be seen.
Neil will also take the time to dress up in his Halloween costume and give passersby a fright tonight.
He said: "I'm not sure what I'll be but I don't want to frighten the kids too much.
"We always get a great response and especially this year, we want to make sure that kids have fun.
"They deserve to have a bit of an escape after this year."
The local community are a big fan of the McVey's decorations, with those further afield even coming to celebrate.
Neil said: "We have people down the street who know that we do this every year but also we get people coming from all over Glasgow.
"I'm glad that we can bring a bit of fun to people for a wee while."
