A NEW Starbucks drive-thru will open in the city's East End this week creating 16 jobs.
The US coffee chain will take up residence at the Forge Retail Park with the store opening on Thursday.
To celebrate, the store will be running online competitions giving lucky customers the chance to win complimentary drinks and Starbucks merchandise.
Starbucks said information will be shared on the store’s Instagram page, @starbucksforegeretail, ahead of opening.

Stephanie Morrow, Starbucks Forge Retail Park Store Manager, said: “We are so excited to open our new store in Glasgow and the team are closely following guidance from both Government and health authorities to keep everyone safe instore.
"We can’t wait to start welcoming new faces over the next few weeks.”
The store is open from 6am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and 7am until 9pm, Saturday to Sunday.
From 6pm to 9pm, the store will only be open for drive thru, delivery, and 'to-go' services in accordance with government restrictions.
