Coronavirus:
A further 1,596 people have tested positive for Covid in Scotland in the past 24-hours.
Latest figures reveal almost 30,000 tests were carried out with 6.3% of them bringing back positive results.
Sadly, 39 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus.
The Scottish death toll from the virus has now hit 3,036.
The number of people in hospital after testing positive for Covid has risen by eight, totalling 1,245 at midnight.
An additional eight people are receiving intensive care, rising to 106 since yesterday.
